Our business valuation and litigation support group brings extensive experience/expertise
and well-recognized professional designations to every assignment. Each team member
has earned the CA designation and additionally obtained other relevant specialized
training and designations such as Chartered Business Valuator (CBV) or Certified Fraud
Examiner (CFE). The CBV is the premier credential for court in situations requiring
expert witness testimony in the fields of business valuation and litigation support.
The “notional” market value of a business is of interest in a variety of situations such
as tax-driven corporate reorganizations, estate and insurance planning, shareholder
disputes, family law matters and related party transactions. WBLI professionals assess
the value of the business against a variety of recognized parameters and present their
findings in written reports for interested parties.
In cases where a business is being purchased or sold, (live transactions), the WBLI team can
provide an assessment and advice regarding the likely value of the business. We also advise on
strategies to maximize the price on the sale of a business interest being prepared for market.
Our team also has extensive experience in determining the quantification of damages
for loss of profits, loss of opportunity, loss of business value and pre-judgment interest.
We assist with reporting and expert witness testimony on litigation support matters
