Wanda is a principal in the Bedford office of WBLI. She practices primarily in
the audit and assurance area and serves a wide variety of owner-managed clients including automobile dealerships, retail and franchise operations,
businesses in the manufacturing and service industries, as well as numerous not-for-profit organizations.
Internally, Wanda is involved in the firm’s quality control initiatives and is a part of
the WBLI team that guides the professional development of our people. Wanda is a member of the firm’s scheduling committee, which allocates the firm’s
assignments across the staffing pool, assuring the appropriate level of talent is
present on every client service team and that client deadlines are met.
- Wanda is an active member of the profession and currently serves on the Professional
Standards Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia.
- She has served on a CICA National Task Force for “Assistance to the Standard
Setting Process”.
- Wanda is an active member of the community, serving as a member of Elmsdale
Chapter #55 O.E.S. and Westville Chapter #24 (Order of the Eastern Star) and a member of Westville
Chapter #24. Past WBLI Team Captain for the CIBC Run for the Cure, and regularly
participates in community fundraising efforts.
- Wanda is a member of the Board of Directors and past treasurer of the LORDA
Park for Senior Citizens and Disabled Persons in Pictou County since 1998. She has
been an active volunteer for this non-profit organization since her family created
it in 1986.
- Wanda has been a Chartered Accountant since 1997.
- She is a graduate of Saint Mary’s University where she earned a Bachelor of
Commerce in 1994.
