Maura is a principal with WBLI Chartered Accountants. She has experience in
responding to the taxation needs of clients in a variety of industries. She is well
experienced in advising on growth and tax strategies for professional services firms
and owner managed companies. She handles all HST related issues for WBLI clients.
Maura has lectured on taxation matters throughout the Atlantic region including
presentations for the Atlantic Provinces Taxation Seminar and Institute of Chartered
Accountants of Nova Scotia’s Professional Development Week.
- She has been involved with the Canadian Association of Family Owned Enterprises (CAFE),
Nova Scotia Chapter as a volunteer with the Programming Committee.
- Maura has been involved with the Membership Committee of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of Nova Scotia.
- In 2003, Maura completed the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountant’s In-
Depth Goods and Services Tax Program.
- Maura earned the Chartered Accountant designation in 1996 and completed the
Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants In-Depth Tax Program in 1999.
- She is a graduate of Mount Allison University where she earned a Bachelor of
Commerce in 1994.
